Single/Album: Hello Kagerou (ハロー カゲロウ)

Ah, GReeeeN, the mysterious four-member group of dentists everybody loves. The incredible thing about this group is that, even after all these years, nobody knows who the members are and what they look like. How cool and mysterious, right?
And these super dentists have returned to the music scene with their latest single Hello Kagerou (ハロー カゲロウ). The single was released on the 8th of February, and brings the fans two new songs. There is a regular and a limited edition; the only difference between the two is the MV for the title track.
First up is the title track Hello Kagerou (ハロー カゲロウ). I love the music, it’s really fun and cheerful. The voices of the members fit well with the fun beat. The song gives me a typical ‘anime’ feel, it’s upbeat and would make for a good opening theme.

The second track Ari Arigatou (アリアリガトウ). This song is a bit less upbeat, and is closer to a ballad. It’s a really beautiful song, and has a nice melody. It’s a great song to listen to with your eyes closed, or when you’re traveling.
Overall, a great single. It’s very fun to listen to, the title track is full of feel-good music. For those who haven’t listened to GReeeeN yet, I really recommend giving this single a try. Long time fans will know just how great this single and the group are.
